I recently read David Caraviello’s Inside Line column on NASCAR.com titled “As it turns out, driver wasn’t DEI’s biggest loss,” in which he examined the journey of the No. 8 since Dale Earnhardt Jr left Dale Earnhardt Inc. Pole Just What Truex, EGR Needed

In 2007, the sport’s biggest name, Dale Earnhardt Jr., announced he would be leaving the team his father built to go to Hendrick Motorsports. The announcement led to questions about the future of Dale Earnhardt Inc. In addition, questions surrounded Martin Truex Jr.’s ability to become the face of the legendary team. While DEI has [...]

Labonte, EGR A Perfect Match?

Ever since his somewhat suprising release from Petty Enterprises’ No. 43 car, 2000 Sprint Cup champion Bobby Labonte’s name has been linked to the newly formed Earnhardt Ganassi Racing, a marriage between Dale Earnhardt Inc. and Chip Ganassi Racing. And, this could be a perfect match. Even before Dale Earnhardt Jr.’s highly publicized departure from [...]
