Rick Hendrick is finalizing a contract extension that would keep Dale Earnhardt Jr with Hendrick Motorsports for the next three-to-five years. It makes sense for him to re-sign with the team.
Dale Earnhardt Jr’s JR Motorsports will team up with Dale Earnhardt Inc and Richard Childress Racing to pay tribute to Dale Earnhardt’s induction into the NASCAR Hall of Fame by fielding the No. 3 Wrangler Chevrolet in the Nationwide Series race on July 2 at Daytona International Speedway to be driven by Earnhardt Jr.
Seaport Group LLC is suing Dale Earnhardt Inc because, Seaport claims, DEI reneged on a deal to sell it a $3.25 million claim in General Motors’s bankruptcy to Seaport for $783,604, according to Bloomberg. Seaport is accusing DEI of reneging the deal because the value of the claim increased dramatically after the agreement was made.
Black Entertainment Television announced that next year, it will feature a “docu-reality” series which will spotlight drivers in NASCAR’s Drive for Diveristy program, which is aimed at getting more minorities and women in the sport. The announcement led to questions about the future of Dale Earnhardt Inc. In addition, questions surrounded Martin Truex Jr.’s ability to become the face of the legendary team. While DEI has [...]
Ever since his somewhat suprising release from Petty Enterprises’ No. 43 car, 2000 Sprint Cup champion Bobby Labonte’s name has been linked to the newly formed Earnhardt Ganassi Racing, a marriage between Dale Earnhardt Inc. and Chip Ganassi Racing. And, this could be a perfect match. Even before Dale Earnhardt Jr.’s highly publicized departure from [...]
