McDonalds has signed on to sponsor Earnhardt Ganassi Racing’s No. 1 Chevy and driver Jamie McMurray for11 races this season, according to ESPN. The deal is said to not have been the result of McMurray’s win in the Daytona 500.

Earnhardt Ganassi Racing is staying with Chevrolet next season, after considering a switch to Toyota, according to FoxSports. Richard Childress, which helps supply engines to EGR, and Toyota reportedly gave EGR an ultimatum to decide on a make for next season. They chose to stick with Chevy.
