After a week in which Ron Hornaday admitted to using testosterone, he turned his focus to the track and dominated the Craftsman Truck Series Camping World RV Rental 200 Driven by Winnebago Industries from New Hampshire Motor Speedway, earning his fifth win of the season.
Jimmie Johnson made his Craftsman Truck Series debut driving the No. 81 Randy Moss Motorsports entry in the O’Reilly 200 from Bristol Motor Speedway. On lap 102, Johnson spun and made contact with Jeff Green. Johnson ended up 34th. Kyle Busch won the race.
Johnny Benson won the Toyota Tundra 200 at Nashville Superspeedway. The win is Benson’s third in a row, and his fourth in the last five races.
Johnny Benson held off Michael Annett to win the Built Ford Tough 225 from Kentucky Speedway. With the victory, Benson took the points lead by one point over Matt Crafton, who finished third.
Ron Hornaday survived a green-white-checker finish to win the O’Reilly 200 at Memphis Motorsports Park. Hornaday dominated the race, leading the final 129 laps. The win gave Hornaday the points lead. He is now leading Matt Crafton by 27 points.
Johnny Benson led the final 53 laps of the Camping World RV Sales 200 to win his third race in a row at the Milwaukee Mile.
