Busch Wins Federated Auto Parts 300

Kyle Busch easily won the Federated Auto Parts 300 at Nashville Speedway. The victory is Busch’s fourth of the season, and his ninth victory in NASCAR’s top three series.

Top 5: Busch, Brad Keselowski, Carl Edwards, Mike Bliss, and Jason Leffler.

Stephen Leicht, Steve Wallace, Michael McDowell, Erik Darnell, and Brad Coleman rounded out the top 10.

Notables: Justin Allgaier (13th), Bobby Hamilton Jr (14th), Kenny Wallace (16th), Tony Raines (19th), Jason Keller (26th), and Scott Wimmer (33rd).

Ricky Stenhouse Jr spun on lap 126, setting off a five-car accident that involved Jason Keller and Trevor Bayne.

Busch Wins Lipton Tea 250

Kyle Busch pulled away from Carl Edwards on the final restart and won the Lipton Tea 250 at Richmond International Raceway.

Top 5: Busch, Edwards, Matt Kenseth, Brad Keselowski, Kevin Harvick.

Joey Logano, Mark Martin, Michael McDowell, Jason Keller, and Jason Leffler finished sixth through 10th, respectively.

Ragan Wins Aaron's 312

David Ragan passed Ryan Newman a few hundred feet from the start-finish line to win the Nationwide Series Aaron’s 312 from Talladega Superspeedway.

On the final lap, Newman led with a push from Dale Earnhardt Jr. Coming off turn 4, Jr peeked out to the outside. Newman went to block, and made some minor contact, killing Jr’s momentum. Ragan, with a push from Joey Logano, squeezed between Jr and Tony Raines and came up along side of Newman. The two made hard contact, but Ragan was able to keep his momentum and win the race.

Top 5: Ragan, Newman, Logano, Raines, Earnhardt Jr.

Jason Leffler, Jason Keller, Scott Lagasse Jr, Brad Keselowski, and Kyle Busch finished sixth through 10th.

Busch Wins Stater Bros. 300

Kyle Busch led 143 of 150 laps to win the Nationwide Series’ Stater Bros. 300 from Auto Club Speedway. The victory was Busch’s second of the day, after he won the Camping World Truck Series’ San Bernardino Co. 200.

Kevin Harvick, Joey Logano, Carl Edwards, and David Ragan finished second through fifth, respectively.

Jeff Burton, David Reutimann, Brian Vickers, Brendan Gaughan, and Steve Wallace rounded out the top 10.

Notables: Michael Waltrip (15th), Jason Keller (17th), Brad Keselowski (27th), Greg Biffle (34th), Joe Nemecheck (35th), and Michael McDowell (36th).

Stewart Wins Camping World 300

Tony Stewart, driving for Hendrick Motorsports in the Hendrickcars.com No. 80 Chevy, won the Nationwide Series’ Camping World 300 from Daytona International Speedway.

Stewart held off a hard-charging Kyle Busch, who got him lose in Turn 4. Stewart went up the race track, but managed to hold off Busch, who then got passed by Carl Edwards.

Stewart, Edwards, Clint Bowyer, Busch, and Greg Biffle finished first through fourth, respectively.

Brian Vickers, Dale Earnhardt Jr. , David Ragan, Jason Keller, and Matt Kenseth rounded out the top 10.

Notables: Kevin Harvick (11th), David Reutimann (12th), Joey Logano (13th), Kenny Wallace (17th), Brad Keselowski (23rd), Michael Waltrip (24th), and Steve Wallace (42nd).

Keselowski had a car capable of winning and was contending for the lead in the later stages of the race. He got loose coming out of the corner and over corrected, hitting the outside wall and causing significant right-side damage. About a half of a lap later, his right side tire went down, sending him into the outside wall again, effectively ending his chances of winning.

Edwards Wins Emerson Radio 250

Carl Edwards passed Clint Boywer for the lead with 28 laps to go and pulled away through three restarts to win the weather-delayed Emerson Radio 250 from Richmond International Raceway.

Bowyer dominated much of the race, leading most of the laps until he lost the lead to Scott Wimmer on a pit stop. He retook the lead shortly after that only to lose the lead to Edwards when he wiggled on lap 223.

Top 5: Edwards, Wimmer, Bowyer, Denny Hamlin, and David Ragan.

Greg Biffle, Joey Logano, Kevin Harvick, David Stremme, and Kyle Busch rounded out the top 10.

Notables: Marcos Ambrose (13th), Mike Wallace (15th), Jason Keller (16th), Steve Wallace (17th), Brad Keselowski (21st), Jason Leffler (30th), and David Reutimann (34th).

Edwards Wins Dodge Dealers 250

Carl Edwards won the Dodge Dealers 250 from Gateway International Raceway for his second victory in the Nationwide Series.

Joey Logano, Jason Keller, Jason Leffler, and Brad Keselowski rounded out the top 5.

Landon Cassill, James Buescher, Clint Bowyer, David Stremme, and David Ragan finished sixth through 10th, respectively.

Notables: Mike Wallace (11th), Marcos Ambrose (15th), David Reutimann (25th), Jamie McMurray (27th), Reed Sorenson (29th), and Scott Wimmer (30th).

Sorenson had a good car, running in the top 5 through much of the early part of the race. On a restart, Sorenson, Wimmer and Cassill were racing for positions when Wimmer tried to go to the inside of Sorenson. He got loose and lifted off the throttle.

Cassill got into the back of him, sending him head on into the outside wall. Sorenson was collected.

Reutimann also had a strong car, capable of winning. Late in the race, he was struggling to get by McMurray. Keselowski went to the outside to pass Reutimann. Reutimann went up the race track and the two made contact and hit the wall. Reutimann got heavy damage and finished 25th. Keselowski had a hole in his hood, but managed to rebound to a fifth place finish.

Busch Wins Dollar General 300

Kyle Busch wins the Dollar General 300 from Chicagoland Speedway. The win is the 13th victory for Joe Gibbs Racing, and Busch’s fifth of the season.

Denny Hamlin, Brad Keselowski, Brian Vickers, and David Reutimann rounded out the top 5.

Greg Biffle, Clint Bowyer, Jeff Burton, Tony Stewart, and Landon Cassill finished sixth through 10th, respectively.

Notables: Jason Keller (14th), Carl Edwards (16th), Matt Kenseth (17th), Kevin Harvick (18th), Elliott Sadler (21st), David Stremme (23rd), Steve Wallace (24th), Dario Franchitti (26th), and Kenny Wallace (27th).

Hamlin Wins Winn Dixie 250

Kasey Kahne, Scott Wimmer, David Stremme, David Ragan and Mike Bliss finished sixth to 10th.

Stewart Wins Camping World RV Sales 200

Tony Stewart wins the Camping World RV Sales 200 from New Hampshire Motor Speedway, marking his fifth victory in the Nationwide series this season.

Stewart took two tires on his final pit stop and restarted the race in third. On lap 136, he took the lead from Carl Edwards and led the rest of the way.

Stewart’s teammates Denny Hamlin and Kyle Busch finished second and third, respectively.

Kevin Harvick and Edwards rounded out the top five.

David Ragan, David Reutimann, Mike Bliss, Clint Bowyer, and Brad Keselowski finished sixth through 10th.
