<p>Yeley said:</p>
<blockquote><p>I am energized and looking forward to working with [owner and manager] Jay Robinson and our team beginning at Daytona in the Duel 150 race and building success all the way to Homestead. I have enjoyed a good working relationship in the past with Tony Furr as my crew chief and am happy to be partnered with him again on this team.</p></blockquote>

				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Long-time Nationwide Series team owner Jay Robinson has teamed up with Troy Blakeney to form Robinson-Blakeney Racing, which will field a Sprint Cup entry in 2012. Robinson owns Jay Robinson Racing, which fielded the No. 28 entry in the Nationwide Series last season with Derrike Cope and Dennis Setzer behind the wheel. The team also fielded the Nos. 48 and 49 in the series with a variety of drivers. The team also formed partnerships with several other N&#8217;Wide teams throughout the season, including R3 Motorsports.</p>
<p>Robinson said:</p>
<blockquote><p>I am very excited about our new venture into the Cup series&#8221;, said team owner Jay Robinson&#8221; We have all of the cars and equipment in place. We will be running engines prepared by Race Engines Plus and are hoping to hire a driver very soon.</p></blockquote>
<p>The team still plans to field the No. 28 N&#8217;wide car. Jeff Spraker and his Spraker Racing Enterprises group has been hired to head up that effort.</p>
<p>No word on sponsorship, driver, or crew chief.</p>

				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Two NASCAR Nationwide Series crew chiefs have been fined for infractions found during the Subway Jalapeño 250 at Daytona International Speedway, the stock car sanctioning body announced Wednesday.</p>
<p>Curtis Aldridge, crew chief for Jay Robinson Racing&#8217;s no 49 and driver Mark Green, was fined $10,000 and placed on probation through the end of the calendar year for violating Sections 12-1 (actions detrimental to stock car racing); 12-4-J (any determination by NASCAR officials that the race equipment used in the event does not conform to NASCAR rules) and 20A-2.3A (improperly attached weight) of the 2010 NASCAR Nationwide Series Rule Book.</p>
<p>Gray Showatler, crew chief for Key Motorsports&#8217; No. 40 and driver Mike Bliss, was fined $5,000 for violating Sections 12-1, 12-4-J and 20A-5.10.1B(3) (venturi height was not dimensionally correct).</p>
<p>The violations on the No. 40 were found during opening day inspection, while the violations on the No. 49 were found during practice on Thursday.</p>
<p>In related news, Key Motorsports is working to field a second car for at least five races this Nationwide Series season. The team is talking to potential drivers and partners and is planning to run the No. 46.</p>

				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><a href="http://www.scenedaily.com/news/articles/nationwideseries/NASCAR_hits_Kenny_Wallaces_Nationwide_Series_with_100-point_penalty.html">SceneDaily</a> is reporting that Jay Robinson Racing Kenny Wallace has been penalized 100 driver&#8217;s points by NASCAR because the safety foam around the fuel cell did not meet the minimum height requirement following the Kroger On Track For The Cure 250 presented by the Southern Dodge Dealers from Memphis Motorsports Park.</p>
<p>JRR crew chief Chris Rice was fined $11,000 for that violation and a rear spring that exceeded the height requirement. Rice was also put on probation for the year.</p>
<p>The team was also fined 100 owner&#8217;s points. </p>
<p>Wallace finished third in the race.</p>
