Justin Allgaier took the lead from Penske Championship Racing teammate Brad Keselowski on a great restart on lap 274. Keselowski gave his teammate plenty of room and pressured him for the lead several times. But, Allgaier ran mistake-free, and led the final 27 laps, winning the Scotts Turf Builder 300 at Bristol Motor Speedway.
Dodge Motorsports unveiled its Dodge Challenger Car of Tomorrow that will be used in four races in the Nationwide Series next year. They also announced that they would be expanding their relationship with Penske Championship Racing.
Brad Keselowski may be running out of options to compete in the Sprint Cup next season. With Tony Stewart’s recent comments that he does not plan to expand, that leaves fewer options for Keselowski in 2010.
ESPN is reporting that Roger Penske, owner of Penske Championship Racing, denied reports that the team would field a fourth car, the No. 22 for Justin Allgaier. He also said that the team will not move to field Saturns, as he purchased the brand last week.
