Mayfields May Sell Team

Jeremy and Shana Mayfield are considering selling Mayfield Motorsports team due to a lack of funds as the result of his failed drug test and subsequent suspension. In addition to the costs of his lawsuit over NASCAR’s drug policy, Mayfield also faces a lawsuit over $86,000 he allegedly owes to Triad Racing Technologies.

Yeley To Sub For Mayfield In MMI Toyota

Following the suspension of driver/owner Jeremy Mayfield, JJ Yeley has been named as the driver of Mayfield Motorsports Inc.’s No. 41 Toyota. The team indicated that Yeley was selected because he is “hungry” and is available for all of the races, keeping the team from having to change drivers.
