Kevin Harvick dominated the Camping World Truck Series’ Kroger 250 at Martinsville Speedway leading 187 of 250 laps, finishing just ahead of his teammate, Ron Hornaday.

For Harvick, it was a pretty easy day. But, for Hornaday, the day was quite eventful. He started deep in the field and made contact with Johnny Sauter on lap 222, causing Sauter to spin. That caution setup the final restart of the race, with Harvick choosing the outside lane and Hornaday restarting on the inside lane.

After the race, Sauter confronted Hornaday on pit road. Hornaday said:

I don’t know if he got into the curb or checked up or whatever, but I got into him pretty good. It was a tough day. I hate to see that, but Johnny’s all mad, and that’s what truck racing’s all about.

Top 5: Harvick, Hornaday, Brian Ickler, Timothy Peters, and Johnny Benson.

Aric Almirola, Matt Crafton, Max Papis, Mario Gosselin, and Ricky Carmichael finished sixth through 10th, respectively.

Notables: Hermie Sadler (12th), Narain Karthikeyan (13th), Tayler Malsam (14th), Johnny Sauter (15th), David Starr (18th), Rick Crawford (19th), Mike Skinner (27th), Ken Schrader (28th), and Todd Bodine (30th).

Give a call to Narain Karthikeyan, the first driver born in India to make a NASCAR national start, who finished 13th and on the lead lap in his first Camping World Truck Series start.
