Gillett Evernham Motorsports has announced that Reed Sorenson has signed a multi-year contract to drive for the team next season.

Jimmie Johnson made his Craftsman Truck Series debut driving the No. 81 Randy Moss Motorsports entry in the O’Reilly 200 from Bristol Motor Speedway. On lap 102, Johnson spun and made contact with Jeff Green. Johnson ended up 34th. Kyle Busch won the race.
