Addington Named Crew Chief Of PCR’s No. 2

Penske Championship Racing announced that Steve Addington will serve as crew chief for the No. 2 Miller Lite Dodge and driver Kurt Busch next season. Addington comes to PCR from Joe Gibbs Racing, where he served as crew chief for Kurt’s younger brother, Kyle Busch, and the No. 18 Toyota.

According to Foxsports, Steve Addington cleaned out his office at Joe Gibbs Racing, after six seasons with the team. He is rumored to be headed to Penske Championship Racing’s No. 2 with driver Kurt Busch, or to Richard Petty Motorsports’s No. 19 with Elliott Sadler.

Brad Keselowski will drive Penske Championship Racing’s No. 12 Dodge for the remainder of this season, as he prepares to be in the ride full time in 2010, the team said in a press release.
