NASCAR Changes Green-White-Checker Rule
NASCAR has announced a change to its finishing procedures, allowing three attempts at a green-white-checkered flag finish, so long as the leader does not take the white flag. The rule will implemented starting in the Gatorade Duels and will cover all three of NASCAR’s top series.
NASCAR To Move To Double-File Restarts
Starting with this weekend’s Pocono 500 at Pocono Raceway, NASCAR will move to double-file restarts. The leader will have the option of chosing the inside or outside position. NASCAR has also made a couple of other format changes to restarts.
