JR Motorsports announced that it has signed a deal with Ingersoll Rand to sponsor the team’s No. 88 Nationwide Series Chevy, driven by Cole Whitt. Richard Petty Motorsports has signed a multi-year sponsorship agreement with Smithfield Foods, the team announced. Smithfield will sponsor the No. 43 driven by Aric Almirola for 15 races, beginning with the 2012 Daytona 500 at Daytona International Speedway. Helping Hungry Homes, a Smithfield initiative, will sponsor the team for the season opening Daytona 500.
