Three Cup Teams Penalized For Dega Infractions
NASCAR has penalized three Sprint Cup Series teams for infractions found during opening day inspection at Talladega Superspeedway: Michael Waltrip Racing’s Nos. 00 and 56, and JTG Daugherty Racing’s No. 47.
Four Teams Penalized For Texas Infractions
NASCAR has penalized Germain Racing’s No. 13 and JTG Daugherty Racing’s No. 47 teams for rule violations at Texas Motor Speedway. The crew chiefs were fined and placed on probation for the rest of the season. The teams each lost 50 owner’s points and 25 driver’s points. Two other teams received fines and probation, as well.
