National Stock Car Racing Chief Appellate Officer John Middlebrook rescinded the points penalties and the suspensions assessed to the No. 48 Hendrick Motorsports team for violations found at Daytona International Speedway.
The stock car racing appeals panel upheld penalties issued to the No. 48 Hendrick Motorsports team. HMS will now appeal to the chief appellate officer.
