Slugger Labbe To Yates Racing
Yates Racing has hired Richard “Slugger” Labbe to serve as crew chief for the No. 98 Menards Ford, and driver Paul Menard next season. Yates Racing will become Richard Petty Motorsports when the merger is complete. Labbe recently left TRG Motorsports.
TRG Releases Labbe
TRG Motorsports announced that the team has parted ways with crew chief Richard “Slugger” Labbe. Labbe served as crew chief for the team’s No. 71, which will be driven by Bobby Labonte next season. TRG is currently in discussions with other crew chiefs.
Gilliland To Drive For TRGM At Fontana
David Gilliland will drive the #71 TRG Motorsports Chevy at this weekend’s Auto Club 500 at Auto Club Speedway (Fontana).
