The animated film, tentatively called NASCAR: The Secret Life of Cars, will tell the story of what happens when humans leave the garage and the cars come to life.

Brad Ball, NASCAR’s VP of entertainment and marketing said that NASCAR wants to “the thrills and excitement of racing to a new generation of fans.”

The film will be produced by Tinseltown Toons, which also produced the “Mortal Kombat” movies.
