Richard Childress Racing has signed Ryan Newman to replace Jeff Burton in the No. 31 Sprint Cup Chevy in 2014, the team announced.
While the paperwork still needs to clear, it appears that Aric Almirola and Marcos Ambrose are both set to return to Richard Petty Motorsports in 2014.
Jeff Burton will not return to Richard Childress Racing’s No. 31 in 2014. He may be headed to Swan Racing’s No. 30.
