Bodine To Attempt Pocono Race In TBR’s No. 36

Geoff Bodine mentioned that he will attempt to qualify for the Gillette Fusion ProGlide 500 frin Pocono Raceway in Tommy Baldwin Racing’s No. 36. Bodine hasn’t started a Sprint Cup race since 2004, and hasn’t raced full time since 1999.

TBR Looks To Fans To Help Honor Modified Legend Evans

Tommy Baldwin Racing is planning to honor Richie Evans by fielding a Evans themed Sprint Cup car during the July race at Daytona. Steve Park is slated to drive. Fans can get their names on the car by contributing as little as $20. Any proceeds over $125,000 will be donated to the Victory Junction Gang Camp.

Report: Harvick Re-signs With RCR

Richard Childress Racing and Kevin Harvick have reportedly reached an agreement on a contract extension that will keep Harvick in the No. 29 Chevy beyond the 2010 season. An official announcement is expected Saturday before the All Star race.

Tommy Baldwin Racing will expand from a one-car operation to a two-car team starting at Auto Club Speedway, the second race of the season. TBR will field the No. 35 Chevy, driven by Johnny Sauter, for at least three races.

Buskirk Joins TBR
