NASCAR issued penalties to Whitney Motorsports following post-race inspection the Sylvania 300 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway where the team’s No. 46 Sprint Cup entry was found to have engine valves that were below the mandated weight. Yeley Replaces Cook At WM
Terry Cook has left Whitney Motorsports’ No. 46 Sprint Cup Dodge effective immediately. Reports are that he was uncomfortable with the direction of the team, and decided to leave. WM indicated that Cook was no longer their driver, via their Facebook page. JJ Yeley will replace Cook at Darlington this weekend.
